We keep this simple because your privacy should be simple. Amble Community collects the minimum data needed to run the site, and we don't share any of it with anyone.

What we collect

If you sign up for the newsletter: your email address and the area you're interested in (e.g. Chislehurst). That's it.

If you submit an event: the event details you provide, plus your name and email so we can contact you if we have questions.

When you visit the site: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

How we use it

• Newsletter emails: to send you the weekly Chislehurst events digest
• Event submissions: to review and publish community events
• Server logs: to keep the site running and fix problems

Who we share it with

Nobody. We don't sell data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't give it to third parties. Your email stays with us.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email. For anything else, email us at hello@amblecommunity.co.uk.

Data storage

Data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted in the EU). The website is hosted on Vercel.
